Hedwig M. Schmidt, the new Commercial Director

Ms. Hedwig M. Schmidt, Master of Commerce, began her career at Deutsche Bank AG.

After having worked in banking in the first few years of her career, she changed to the industrial sector in 1990. Since then, she has worked in international industry, the metal and electronics industry and the mechanical and plant engineering sector in various commercial managerial positions.

In June 2011, she joined Ipsen International GmbH and took on responsibility as Commercial Manager. After having successfully settled in, she was appointed Commercial Director from 1 October 2011, taking over from Mr. Peter Fleischmann. Mr. Fleishmann will, in future, concentrate on his function as CFO of Ipsen Holding.
